Urgent YDC Scam Update: David Meehan said The State of NH is pressuring him to testify against James Woodlock and say something other than the truth

During a pretrial hearing held on September 12th, 2025, regarding the State of New Hampshire vs. James Woodlock, emails from the accuser and main witness, David Meehan, indicate that he is being pressured by the State of New Hampshire to testify against James Woodlock and say something other than the truth, during the upcoming trial, scheduled to begin on September 23rd.
The hearing focused on whether certain emails and statements made by accuser David Meehan were exculpatory (helpful to the defense) and had to be disclosed and whether the defense should be allowed depositions of witnesses (especially David Meehan and the victim advocate). Judge Delker has not yet ruled on the defense’s motion.
To refresh your memory, David Meehan is the original YDC lawsuit “victim” who claimed Woodlock was a “look out” when he was beaten and sexually abused by multiple YDC staff members. Woodlock, who has a flawless and impeccable 30+ year record as a staff member of YDC and subsequently, as a Juvenile Probation and Parole Officer (JPPO), was indicted on July 9th, 2021 on 6 counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault (accomplice).
I have several serious concerns with this entire situation:
A key witness and accuser in Woodlock's upcoming trial (David Meehan) has indicated that the State of NH is pressuring him to testify. How can this information not be beneficial for the defense and how could there even be an argument that these statements are not admissible during the trial?
James Woodlock was indicted on July 9th, 2021. That’s 4 years and 22 days ago. Whatever happened to the Sixth Amendment of the U.S Constitution that guarantees the right to a speedy trial? Sure, Woodlock has been released pending trial, but he and the other YDC staff being accused, have been living a life of pure hell for over 4 years. It’s disgraceful and every American should be petrified.
In 2020, David Meehan was admitted to the hospital with a manic episode, which is common amongst those with bipolar disorder. During his “episode”, Meehan said he was royalty and a biblical figure. Will that be admissible in court, Judge Delker? Would 12 jurors believe 25+ year old accusations from someone like Meehan, if they knew about his long history of mental health issues?
There were no witnesses to Meehan’s alleged “abuse”. Every single former YDC staff member being accused has vehemently denied the accusations and opted to go to trial. If Meehan’s accusations are true, wouldn’t at least one of the accused have taken a plea deal and testified in order to avoid the risk of a lengthy prison sentence?
James Woodlock has an impeccable and flawless record throughout his 30+ year tenure as a YDC staff and JPPO. He is known throughout the community as “one of the best” and countless co-workers, and former YDC residents continue to support him. James Woodlock dedicated his life to helping children and he has never been accused of wrongdoing, until Meehan’s “accusations” surfaced.
James Woodlock’s charges are a complete farce, should be thrown out immediately and his name should be exonerated. The accusations against James Woodlock are yet another example of the biggest case of fraud ever to be witnessed in the State of New Hampshire. Everyone involved in bringing this case to trial should be ashamed of themselves and fired immediately.
As painful as it is to investigate and report on the YDC lawsuits and bear witness to the innocent lives that have been ruined, I believe that justice will prevail.
Editor's note: A full copy of the transcripts from the pre-trial hearing held on September 12th, 2025 is included below. We encourage all readers to review this document in detail, so you can get a full sense of the corruption, lies and greed associated with the YDC lawsuits.
