Live Free Press accepts a wide range of opinion submissions and is committed to robust, open debate. As a general rule, we will publish most submissions under an Opinion label, provided they are not slanderous and do not contain demonstrable, objective falsehoods presented as fact.
We recommend submissions fall in the range of 800 to 1,000 words. That said, we prioritize substance and clarity over length and will publish any length.
We accept submissions from established organizations, advocacy groups, and institutions. Individual contributors must submit under their real names; anonymous submissions from individuals will not be published.
Live Free Press is a vigorous defender of the First Amendment. We welcome viewpoints from across the political and ideological spectrum, including arguments that are critical of this publication or its editorial perspective. Our goal is not agreement, but informed, good-faith discourse grounded in facts and clearly identified opinion.
